Aegon Life Insurance, the digital insurance company in India, recently announced the appointment of Naveen Bachwani as its Chief Operating Officer to drive digital transformation, product development and operations for the digital-first insurance organisation. He will be based in the Mumbai corporate office.
Bachwani comes with experience of more than 20 years in customer strategy, digital transformation and communication design. His last assignment was with the Edelweiss Group. He has also held leadership assignments across a variety of roles with ICICI Group, Times of India, Experian India and others, including multiple stints as a P&L owner and entrepreneur.

His rich experience in the industry, domain know-how across the BFSI spectrum and strong understanding of business operations will provide a unique perspective to the organisation. Bachwani’s experience includes being a speaker and jury member at industry events across India, contributing as a visiting faculty at various management institutes and acting as a business mentor to select non-profits and startups. His contributions have also been featured in various online/print magazines.
Bachwani’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Xavier’s, Mumbai, and an MBA in Marketing from K.J. Somaiya, Mumbai.
