Combiflam, the pain relief brand, from Sanofi India Limited, has launched an advertisement campaign for Combiflam Plus. The film puts in the spotlight the tension headaches that often gnaw people but which is often left unattended.
The ad shows the âPain Manâ losing the age-old battle with pain-relief as Combiflam Plus (a combination of Paracetamol and Caffeine), whizzes the headache away and allows for focus and clear thinking. It highlights the superior quality and better efficacy of the new Combiflam Plus that targets intense and stronger headaches. New Combiflam Plus has the dual power of Paracetamol and medicated Caffeine that provides quick headache relief so that you can think clearly again.
Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the film is light, fast-paced and fun. Itâs a quirky take on the daily struggles face while balancing tasks with kids, for work and at home. They might win the balance, but often lose the struggle with their thumping headache.
In the TVC, a headache prevents a mother from thinking clearly and completing her sonâs project, bringing to the fore headaches â the single largest pain incidence among the various types of pains experienced by Indians. Humorously personified as âPain Manâ dancing on her head, she is only relieved after she pops a Combiflam Plus, which rushes to her rescue. The film ends with the message âSar dard mitaao, clear socho. Strong pain ko do strong jawabâ.
Intense headaches generally come unannounced and hinder the course of the day. This film was created keeping in mind the sentiment of the consumer, giving it a humorous and yet very relatable tone.
