Vivek Nayer has stepped down from the position of Chief Marketing Officer, Group Corporate Brand, at Mahindra & Mahindra Group. Â Nayer, who has worked with the company for 15 years, confirmed the news on his social media handles.

However, he didnât confirm his next move.
In another post, Nayer said that he wished to spend more time with his family (post the lockdown), especially with his mother who has been keeping unwell.
He said, âThe immediate plan after the lockdown lifts is to spend a few months with my mother in Delhi as she has been very ill recently. If there is one learning from the recent crisis, it is to prioritise things well. After that who knows where the next journey will take me.â
Nayer had joined the company in August 2005 as Sr. Vice-President, Marketing and in 2012, was promoted as the CMO of the Automotive Division.
Prior to this, he had worked with Reckitt Benckiser PLC, UK, for more than four years as Global Category Marketing Manager (Furniture and Floor Clear) and with Reckitt and Colman for nearly seven years as Marketing Manager and South Asia Category Leader (Personal Care and Antiseptics). He had started his career with Voltas as Area Sales Manager in the year 1987 where he had worked for more than five years.
Nayer is an alumnus of University of Mumbai (MMS, Marketing) and Delhi University (BSc).
