BBC GoodFood India has got on board Sabeer Ahluwalia as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to consolidate their presence in print, digital, TV, social media and events.

Ahluwalia will work with Shafquat Ali, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, BBC GoodFood India and CEO and Editor-in-Chief, FoodFood Awards. Ahluwalia will work towards bringing BBC Good Food India in the B2B luxury space catering to the hospitality industry (F&B).

Speaking about his plans with BBC GoodFood India, Ahluwalia said, “Coming on board at BBC Good Food India is an exciting prospect for me. Our aim is to give clients a valuable return on their investments with content spread strategically across all mediums, be it print, digital, TV, social media and events. On a personal front, working with Shafquat and the talented Indian team to create new IPs and to consolidate BBC Good Food India’s position presents not only an exciting opportunity but the prospect of exponential learning.”

Ahluwalia has 13 years of association in the capacity of Brand and Corporate Business Head representing top global luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi and Ducati with diversified industry exposure in luxury, media, telecom, sports and entertainment. He augments, maintains and nurtures over 1000 top corporate, ultra HNIs, media moguls, advertising gurus, hoteliers, illustrious personalities, diplomats and bureaucratic relations.

During his stint with Quantum Gabriel, he was responsible for procuring projects from the international market and successfully executed over 300 short animated films. QG has developed 11000+ minutes of animated content under his leadership and caters to Indian and international clients across: US, UK, Europe, Middle East and North African Countries. He has produced around 100 animated and motion graphics TV commercials for New York 1 channel, Zee TV, Sony TV, TV Asia, WNBC 63 and CNBC.

Ahluwalia has expertise in engaging multiple luxury brands and creating an IP through dynamic and powerful brands. During his stint with a Drag racing company ISW Motor Sports, he was responsible for managing some of the most distinguished supercar brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Maserati, Mini Cooper, Mercedes-Benz AMG, Audi, BMW, Mustang, AMG, Land Rover and among superbikes: Harley Davidson, Triumph, Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Polaris, KTM. He was instrumental in bringing 11 times Drag race world champion, Rickey Gadson on board.

He is regular in giving talks in management, medical and engineering colleges such as IIM Calcutta, Calcutta Medical College, Indian Institute of Engineering and Technology and many more. He is closely associated with ICC’s Young Leaders Forum, Expat Club of Calcutta and Beyond Bengal.

As his corporate social responsibility, he is working closely with Rising Bengal, Astha, Ummeed and other NGOs on various social, welfare and industry projects. He works to facilitate the infrastructure of government hospitals through corporate branding, eradication of commission system in various pathological labs and actively planning and executing with food wastage policy.
