Vandana Verma, COO of Publicis Groupe’s experiential marketing, shopper and retail agency, has put in her papers. The development was confirmed by the industry sources.
She has been with Arc for over 7 years and has led a team of close to 200 people spanning offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.
She was most recently in the news when Arc launched the shopper marketing and retail knowledge centre in India. This centre provided clients a more customised and holistic view on a shopper’s journey, right from the trigger process to the final purchase. Verma’s robust leadership made Arc WW one of the few experiential agencies in the country providing a holistic set of services including thinking, strategy and planning, and execution in shopper and retail marketing.
Verma has also has been instrumental in steering Publicis Groupe’s ‘Power of One’ agenda in India. During her stint, Arc Worldwide also won a prestigious Silver medal at the PR Awards Asia for its work on Viacom. Her next move is not known at the moment.
