Global marketing leader Ajay Kaul has reportedly joined DiDi Chuxing, a mobility/ride hailing company headquartered in Beijing. According to the industry sources, Kaul will be based in Silicon Valley, US, and will head the companyâ€™s paid marketing for international markets (outside China).
Before moving to DiDi Chuxing, Kaul was working as Chief Digital Officer, at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited.
With 25 years of experience, Kaul has an expertise in creating and scaling brands utilising digital and social media. He started his career in 1994 as a Project Specialist at Sprint International (Virginia, USA).Â In 1997 kaul joined Dell as Head of Marketing â€“ America (SMB / Public Sector).
In June 2006, Kaul moved to Lenovo as Director, Worldwide Direct Response Marketing & Business Intelligence. Later on, in 2010, he was elevated to Executive Director, Global Marketing / Brand Communication and Analytics.Â
In 2014, Kaul was appointed as Director, Performance and Brand Marketing at Google where he spent also most two-and-a half years.Â From October 2016 he was associated with Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited.
