Pradeep Dwivedi, who moved on as CEO of Sakal Media Group earlier this year in January and took advisory role with the group, is slated to focus on broadcast and investment business.

In his role as CEO of Sakal Media Group, Dwivedi handled a dynamic media portfolio, including print dailies, magazines, television, digital/online business as well as on-ground activations and innovative media solutions businesses. He worked closely with other initiatives of the group led independently by business leaders such as Delivering Change Foundation projects including YIN-Young Inspirators Network, Tanishka Foundation, Global Inspirators Network in building community networks and delivering smart village / smart city projects. 

Dwivedi is an accomplished industry leader with an experience of over 23 years of B2B as well as B2C management cutting across functions and industries. He has wide expertise in sales and marketing, service delivery, risk operations and business management across media, telecommunications, banking and financial services and automotive industry domains. 

Dwivedi commenced his career with managing sales, distribution and marketing with Eicher Motors. This was followed by consumer banking and financial services industry assignments in prestigious multinational firms such as GE Capital Commercial Finance, Standard Chartered and American Express Bank. Subsequently, as Regional COO of Tata Teleservices, he was managing their Enterprise Business and had held roles in service operations, marketing leadership, strategic business development and new product innovation.  

Dwivedi has an MBA from Punjab University with specialisation in Marketing and Finance. He has also done an Executive Program from the University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business, at Tata Management Training Centre. He is an active participant in industry associations such as IAA (International Advertising Association – India Chapter) and The Advertising Club of India.
