Religare Health Insurance makes customers aware of dos and don’ts to help utilise policy better

The campaign by Scarecrow M&C Saatchi endeavours to simplify a customer’s experience when they need their insurer the most — claiming their health insurance policy

Religare Health Insurance (RHI), the health insurer, has taken the initiative to drive awareness among its customers and public on the various dos and don’ts that help people utilise their policy better.

The campaign is titled ‘The Moment of Truth’ since it endeavours to simplify a customer’s experience at the time when they need their insurer the most, i.e. claiming their health insurance policy. This is a multi-channel initiative across social media and on-ground activities to capture a wider set of audience. 

With a series of four videos, the campaign highlights situations and reasons that might lead to a customer not being able to make use of their policy and file a claim. This could be as an outcome of key information regarding one’s current health status not being shared at the time of enrolment or simply because one isn’t apprised of the various inclusions, exclusions or terms and conditions of their policy.

As a pro-active effort to educate consumers, the company targets not just its customers but also the public at large. The campaign highlights the company’s key strength: fast and paperless claim settlement process via a technology interface, claim-genie, which facilitates intimation of a claim via online submission of documents.
