It’s estimated that by 2020 the workforce will be 50% generation Z. This generation will have a stronger sense of technology compared to millennials which means any traditional approach within an organization is surely dwindling. While this scenario may be intimidating for some, Dentsu Aegis Network being digitally ahead and creatively - led has comfortably got all its agencies to believe and adapt to this digital era.

As Posterscope is geographically spread out across 25 cities in India, it’s challenging for the HR function to have a seamless onboarding experience or an induction process across all these cities. Hence with an objective to improve HR productivity and employee experience, Posterscope has recently launched an E-Induction Module for all its new employees. The e-learning portal will enable employees to learn about the company at their own pace and will also serve as a resource that employees can access as and when they need to. It’s user-friendly, easy to navigate and can be updated as per the changing business dynamics and redeployed in a jiffy. To further enhance the employee induction process, the module will also host a Q&A section.

Speaking on the launch, Haresh Nayak, Group MD, Posterscope South Asia, said, “At Posterscope we are in a constant state of evolution. We leverage technology to reduce manual intervention across all our businesses, however, it’s now time to introduce automation within functions. I believe digitization will have the strongest impact on the Human Resources function as they need to focus on designing thinking and not designing processes. The E-Induction Module is our attempt to offer employees with a great orientation experience and avoid costly, unnecessary and unwanted attrition.”

The E-Induction Module includes company policies, training and development, introduction to the leadership team, onboarding process, company profile, etc. Additionally, it also includes a list of FAQs which will further benefit employees.

“Induction is an integral part of an employee’s performance. However, the bitter truth is that post onboarding hustle takes over and employers overlook the most basic, yet crucial process. Now that generation Y and generation Z will be the maximum strength in the organization, it’s the right time to launch the E-Induction Module. This mandatory E-Induction Module will help us offer a consistent message for our geographically spread out Work-force and the best part, it’s compatible with multiple devices,” said Karishma Khedekar, Assistant Manager HR - Posterscope India.
