Cheil Worldwide India won a Silver (second prize) and two Bronze (third prize) awards at 2019 New York Festivals Advertising Awards. WatConsult Mumbai was another agency from India to hit a medal as it won a Bronze award.
Cheil was awarded Silver for The Good Vibes Project done for Sense International in the technology innovation category. This work was also adjudged the third prize winner for best use of digital/mobile medium.
The agencyâs work titled âBixby Voice Foreverâ done for Samsungâs Bixby Virtual Assistant won a Bronze award in âCivic & Social Education: Brandâ category.
WatConusltâs Bronze award was given for #powerlessqueen done for Project Nanhi Kali in games category.
The 2019 Executive Jury of Chief Creative Officers and other top agency creatives, in addition to NYFâs Film Craft Executive Jury, selected the Worldâs Best Advertising award winners from the Finalists chosen by New York Festivals 400+ Grand Jury members. âBlack Supermarketâ from Marcel Paris was honoured with the 2019 Best of Show Award. Client Carrefour challenged the agrochemical lobby and law that allows access to only 3% of existing fruits and vegetables in the Official Catalogue of Authorized Species. The campaign challenged people to go to the Black Supermarket and to sign the petition to change the law. âBlack Supermarketâ also earned a Grand Award, 3 First Prize Awards, 8 Second Prize Awards and 3 Finalist Certificates.

The New York City Award, a new category for NYFA was awarded to celebrate advertising that captures the vibe of New York City. First Prize Award went to BBH for their entry âPlanned Parenthood NYC- Freedom to F*ckâ.
Each year, New York Festivals, in partnership with the United Nations Department of Public Information, appoints a UN panel to select public service work that exemplifies the aims and ideals of the United Nations. For 2019, the UNDPI Jury recognized the following entries with theÂ UNDPI Award: Philipp und Keuntje GmbHÂ Germany âShitty Paper Made from Hateâ for Goldeimer earned the UNDPI First Prize Award; BETC Brazil âThe Dissolving Posterâ for Habitat For Humanity was awarded the UNDPI Second Prize Award, and Serviceplan France âAutism Can Workâ for ANDROS / Vivre et travailler autrement was honoured with the UNDPI Third Prize.
