The effectiveness awards are a testimony to the collaborative vision at McCann and the confluence of local expertise and global learnings."

Jitender Dabas, Chief Strategy Officer, McCann Worldgroup India, said, “Does my creativity help me solve your problem in ways that haven’t been thought before to drive results? Meaningful effectiveness is an output of relentless pursuit of defining the right problem and then arriving at strategic & creative solutions that are borne out a deeper understanding of culture and context – things we are passionate about at McCann India.

I am especially proud of a lot of campaigns that have been effective in driving behavior change to drive significant market results - whether it be in hygiene & health, food & beverage or digital payments/e-commerce. That’s what has propelled McCann Worldgroup to the be the No.1 at Effectiveness rankings consecutively in India for last two years and now globally. Yes it feels extremely special to be the No.1 office in the World.”

Ogilvy Mumbai fared second at creative rankings with its campaign Healthy hands chalk sticks, for Savlon ranked #2 among most effective marketing campaigns around the world.

The number one most effective campaign in the world according to Warc Effective 100 is 'Let’s make viral products instead' for Carvaan created by The Womb, a radio pre-loaded with nostalgic music. The agnecy has ranked 8th in the creative rankings chart. The Womb is the only independent agency in the world to feature in the top 10.

Vikram Mehra – CEO, Saregama India, had this to say on the recognition, “The commercial and critical success of Carvaan is a testament to our belief that the key to innovation is listening to our customers. We are proud to have The Womb as our strategic partners in this successful journey.”

An excited Navin Talreja and Kawal Shoor, Co- Founding Partners, The Womb, said, “We took on an almost terminal business challenge in the first year of starting our agency. We helped the client meet it, and beat it with a product innovation, that too for an innovation-phobic elderly audience! This has been such a once-in-a-lifetime experience. What more can we ask for after this recognition, except that we must now move on…to the next big thing!”

Unilever is the top-ranked advertiser and Coca-Cola the top-ranked brand.

The WARC Effective 100 is an independent global index of effective marketing campaigns. The rankings, which include the most awarded campaigns, agencies, networks, holding companies, brands, advertisers and countries, are based on WARC’s analysis of the 2018 results of the most important marketing effectiveness and strategy competitions around the world, as determined by the industry.
