We often struggle with labels and tags when it’s time to clean and iron clothes. And to solve this problem, Philips has come up with its Garment Steamers. It is a solution for ironing delicate garments at home without the risk of burning or ruining them. It smoothens out the creases and steams even the most delicate of garments with love.

This latest campaign from Philips aims to create awareness about the Philips Garment Steamer, make people re-evaluate their existing ways and switch to something more convenient, something that knows and understands what their delicate and expensive garments really need.

The brand campaign comprising two digital films has been conceptualised by Ogilvy Gurgaon. The husband-wife film and the mother-daughter film, both have a positive and a progressive thought.

Kapil Arora, President, Ogilvy North, said, “Ironing clothes is one of those household chores that receives little attention and even less love. How does one change that? For starters, with a product that’s a show stopper in terms of engineering and design. Follow that with a campaign that invests emotions into this chore and raises it to the higher plank of ironing out differences with love. I think the line ‘Silvatein mitaye, pyaar se’ has the potential to go places. Politics, sports, international disputes… it’s just so relevant to so many current scenarios.”

Gulbahar Taurani, Marketing Director, Philips Personal Health, Indian Subcontinent, said, “We at Philips believe that ‘Silvatein kahin bhi achi nahin lagti, Na aap par aur na hi aap ke kapdo par’ and that’s the reason we are here with an efficient, effective and economical solution for the care of your special, delicate and favourite clothes with a very relevant message, especially in this day and age, ‘Silvatein mitaye, pyaar se’.
