DS Group's Catch Spices awards creative mandate to Dentsu Impact

DS Group has appointed Dentsu Impact to take care of the creative mandate of Catch Spices. The account was awarded to the agency after a multi-agency pitch was called that saw participation from the industry’s major creative agencies. The news was exclusively confirmed to BestMediaInfo by the company spokesperson.

The account will be handled by the Delhi office of the agency. The incumbent on the account was Everest Brands Solutions for more than six years now. While the size of the account could not be confirmed at the time of filing the report, the budget is expected to be substantial.

Commenting on appointing Dentsu Impact as the agency on record for the brand, DS Group’s spokesperson said, “Everest Brand Solutions has been doing good work for us and we have a good relationship with them. It’s just we wanted some new perspective on the brand. We hired Dentsu Impact because of their good presentation and the understanding of the brand.”

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has been the brand’s ambassador for more than five years now. The group recently appointed Social Kinnect as its digital agency earlier this year.

The Catch Spices business falls under the foods division of the DS Group. The brand’s product offerings include kitchen spices and sprinklers. The Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group) is a multi-diversified conglomerate, with a turnover of more than Rs 7,700 crore as of FY 2015-16.
