The 2018 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced the shortlists for Glass, Innovation and Titanium Lions. Indian agencies have secured a total of six shortlists including four for Glass Lions and one each for Innovation and Titanium Lions.
In Glass Lions category, Cheil Worldwide India, DDB Mudra Group, BBDO India and FCB India have secured one shortlist each.
Cheilâ€™s â€˜Samsung Technical School â€“ Seema Nagarâ€™ campaign for Samsung has been shortlisted for Glass Lions while DDB Mudraâ€™s work titled â€˜Project Free Periodâ€™ for Stayfree Sanitary Pads has made it to the shortlist.
#Standbytoughmoms for All Out done by BBDO India has impressed the jury to made it to the shortlist while FCB Indiaâ€™s work for The Times of India titled â€˜Sindoor Khela - No Conditions Applyâ€™ has been shortlisted.
There are a total of 27 shortlists from across the world competing for Glass Lions.
In the Innovation category, Cheil Worldwide has fetched the only shortlist 'Good Vibes: a Communication tool for the deaf and blind' for Sense International India. There are a total of 21 shortlists worldwide for the Innovation Lions.
In the Titanium category also, DDB Mudra Mumbaiâ€™s campaign 'Project Free Period' for the brand Stayfree Sanitary Pads is the only Indian shortlist among 25 shortlists from across the world.
