Star Gold Select HD turns one, launches storytellers' fest

To commemorate the first anniversary of the channel, Star Gold Select HD has launched Select Storytellers, a festival to tell the story behind a few of the finest movies of Hindi cinema. Starting March 9, Friday to March 18, the programme will be telecast every Sunday.

Select Storytellers is a 10-day long festival with handpicked films of Bollywood. The channel has gathered 10 directors to tell us the numerous stories behind that one wonderful story.

Directors such as Imtiaz Ali, Shoojit Sircar, Rajat Kapoor and Santosh Sivan among others gets candid about what triggered them to make these offbeat movies such as Highway, Pink, Ankhon Dekhi and Tahaan, respectively. The exclusive facts about the film, the challenges they faced and the drive to deliver a story like never before has all been captured by Star Gold Select HD.
