Cargill’s food business in India has appointed Milind Pingle as Director, Sales and Marketing. Pingle brings with him over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing and will work closely with the team in their endeavour to propel the company’s brands to the next level.

Pingle joins Cargill India from Times Group (BCCL) where his last assignment was Director Response, wherein he led development of business verticals across parameters of ad revenues, yield and market shares. He also functioned as the Response Lead for publications such as Maharashtra Times and Mirrors during his last stint. Across his illustrious career, Pingle has also worked with leading organisations such as Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages and Perfetti Van Melle India, to name a few. He is also credited for his expertise in conceiving, incubating and building start-up organisations.

An alumnus of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, he is known as a strategic marketing leader with an expertise in consumer marketing and sales, across industry verticals.

In India, Cargill’s operations started in 1987. It has businesses in refined oils, food ingredients, grain and oilseeds, cotton, animal nutrition and trade structured finance. Cargill Foods India markets consumer brands of edible oils such as NatureFresh, Gemini, Sweekar, Leonardo Olive Oil, Rath and Sunflower brand of hydrogenated fats.
