Amazon offers Prime Music, an ad-free music streaming service

Amazon has announced the launch of its upcoming ad-free music streaming service called Amazon Prime Music. This service will be available for free for Prime members.

Amazon has also partnered with Saregama to stream the label’s catalogue of 117,000 tracks on Amazon Prime Music when the ad-free music streaming service launches in India. Saregama has Indian music selections across multiple Indian languages. It offers collection of classics with a catalogue dating back to the era of first talkie film, Raja Harishchandra. Prime members will have access to this collection on Amazon Prime Music and more from movies like Guide, Don, Kati Patang, Waqt, CID; contributions from legends like Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi, Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali, MS Subbulakshmi, Asha Bhosle, RD Burman, Kishore Kumar and others.

At launch, Amazon Prime Music listeners will enjoy hundreds of specially hand-curated playlists across their favourite eras, genres and artists.”
