Maruti Suzuki recently launched the Baleno RS, a powerful and sportier variant of the Baleno hatchback. To herald the cars’ launch, Hakuhodo Percept rolled out a 360 degree marketing campaign. The car intends to set one’s heart racing with its performance and road handling. The tag line ‘Made of Speed’ is a sequel to its campaign ‘Made of Mettle’ launched last year.
Shot at the dry lakebed of Sambhar Lake in Rajasthan, the TVC features a red Baleno RS stirring up storm in full throttle. A series of action sequences of the car have been shot as the car makes sharp turns in order to highlight speed and precision handling. The campaign ends with its tag line, Made of Speed.
Apart from television, the campaign will be visible in print, digital and out-of-home (OOH). The television campaign went on air on March 3, 2017.

The 1.0 litre boosterjet direct injection turbo engine delivers outstanding power, which is 20 per cent more, than a conventional engine. At the same time, torque is over a wide range of RPM and 30 per cent higher than the 1.2 litre traditional petrol engine. Baleno RS is for the performance enthusiasts who are seeking more power, throttle response and excitement in their day-to-day driving.”
