Havas Media wins Michelin Tyres’ global media business

The India business is estimated to be over Rs 80 crore. The account will be handled by the agency’s Delhi office

Havas Media’s India offices will handle the planning and buying duties for French tyre brand Michelin in the country. Havas Media recently won the global media mandate for the tyre brand. Michelin is quite a significant spender on India too.

While Havas Media India officials remained tight-lipped, industry sources estimated the account size in India to be over Rs 80 crore. The account will be handled by the agency’s Delhi office.

GroupM’s MEC is the incumbent on the account. As reported by Adweek, MEC was handling the $100 million business since 2009.
