An elaborate pitch is underway in Delhi with five major agencies participating in it. This is the first time that the cab aggregator is looking for an agency on record.

Uber scouts for a creative agency

The international taxi aggregation company, Uber, has called for a creative pitch, sources close to the development confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com. A total of five agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather and DDB Mudra, have participated in the pitch currently underway in Delhi. The pitch was held on Friday, June 9, the sources confirmed.

The company has been working on a project basis till now. This is the first time that the cab aggregator is looking for an agency on record. The first traditional campaign for the brand was conceptualised by BBH India and was released in September 2016.

With only two major players in the cab aggregation business in India, Uber is an important player. Considering the foreign muscle and leadership in the Indian market, the account size would be significant.

Prior to this, the organisation had called for a pitch in June, 2015.
