Omnicom Media Group has announced the appointment of Ranga Somanathan as its CEO for Singapore and Malaysia. In his new role, Somanathan will lead the group’s assets in the two countries. He will report to Jasmin Sohrabji, CEO for Omnicom Media Group, SEA and India.
Ranga will replace Sony Wong in Singapore, who will leave his position as CEO of Omnicom Media Group Singapore at the end of the year for an early retirement, after more than five years of service with the group. While in Malaysia, Andreas Vogiatzakis stepped down from his position as Omnicom Media Group Malaysia’s CEO to pursue another opportunity in the industry.
