E-commerce platform Snapdeal, which claims to be the largest online marketplace in the country, has acquired ‘TargetingMantra’. The boutique technology company has done path-breaking work in personalizing the shopping experience for customers on e-commerce platforms.
TargetingMantra was founded by Saurabh Nangia and Rahul Singh in March 2013 and now has offices in Palo Alto and Gurgaon. The company provides a unified platform to manage customer life cycle through personalization, targeting and big data analytics.
TargetingMantra specialises in building products that enhance the customer buying experience and increases conversion rates through intuitive product discovery, recommendations and channel selection. TargetingMantra’s founders have wide experience in machine learning and the e-commerce industry. At Snapdeal, TargetingMantra’s team will further the on-going initiative to build the ‘customer experience engine’ which will personalise shopping experiences for customers.
