India TV, which boasts of breaking records in terms of ratings in the last few weeks, has announced a day-long mega conclave. The marathon discussions will strive to highlight the hits and misses of the Narendra Modi led government at the Centre and focus on the opportunities and challenges that will define the next three years of the National Democratic Alliance(NDA) regime. The Modi government completes two years in office this month.

Led by India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Rajat Sharma, the 'Government of Hope and Anticipation' will be put to test by a team of foremost journalists, who will incisively probe the present government's performance in the first two years in office. The conclave is scheduled for May 16, 2016 in New Delhi.

The conclave will find somemajor political decision makers from both the Ruling coalition and the Opposition camps on its panels. The august gathering of delegates will include some top corporate honchos, media personalities and other newsmakers. The channel has gained a massive reputation for its top-notch on-ground initiatives over the last few years. This initiative too promises much food for thought for avid political watchers andanalysts.

Among the big guns expected at the conclave will be Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah, Union finance minister Arun Jaitley, Union home minister Rajnath Singh, Union minister for human resource development Smriti Irani and Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadhkari. Other panelists at the conclave expected to make headlines from the platform will include Minister of State (Independent charge) for power, coal and renewable energy, Piyush Goel, Union minister for communication and information technology Ravi Shanker Prasad and Minister of State for external affairs Gen. V.K. Singh.

The leaders from the Ruling coalition will share the stage with influential leaders from the Opposition camp, like Congress leaders Salman Khurshid and Jairam Ramesh, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad and actor and Congress leader Raj Babbar, among others. Yoga guru and Ayurved Acharya Baba Ramdev, film-maker Madhur Bhandarkar,AamAdmi Party leader Kumar Vishvas and Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind general secretary Mahmood Madani are also scheduled to attend the conclave.
