The channel will be the ninth international news channel in the DishTV list

DishTV, Asia’s largest DTH service provider and among India’s leading DTH brands, has announced that it was adding BBC World News to its range of existing international news channels. BBC World News has the largest audience among BBC channels, with an estimated 76 million viewers weekly.
DishTV subscribers will now get access to the BBC World News bulletins, documentaries, lifestyle programmes and interviews on channel number 616. It will be the ninth international news channel in the Dish TV bouquet.

DishTV has a complete offering of High-Definition (HD) entertainment with 50 HD channels, the highest in India. The DTH operator offers its subscribers a wide range of channels across genres like music, news, sports, movies and regional language channels.
