Presidency University's latest campaign says education is about inspiring questions
Conceptualised by Rediffusion Y&R, the campaign depicts the inspiring life-changing questions of celebrated personalities from various batches since 1817

One of the most prestigious and heritage institutions of India, Presidency University, Kolkata, has come out with a campaign to celebrate 200 years of its existence. The institute that counts Nobel laureates Rabindranath Tagore and Amartya Sen, Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Satyajit Ray and India's first President Rajendra Prasad among its alumni empanelled Rediffusion Y&R to handle the creative mandate for its bicentennial celebration.
The campaign depicts the inspiring life-changing questions by the celebrated personalities from Presidency University from various batches ever since 1817.
“It has been a privilege for the team to work on such a prestigious occasion for one of the iconic educational institutions of India. In the process, we discovered that the contribution of Presidency College to the nation has been so much greater than what is known to most of us. I hope the work helps bring a bit of that to the forefront,” said Rahul Jauhari, Chief Creative Officer, Rediffusion Y&R.
Speaking about the thought behind the campaign, Suparna Mucadum, Vice-President, Rediffusion Y&R Kolkata, said, “Education is not only about teaching answers, it is also about inspiring questions. Questions have the power to change the world and that's what Presidency has been doing best in the last 200 years.”
