As India stands at an inflection point with regard to the acceptance of digital from a consumer and business standpoint, Moneycontrol, to drive this very point, hosted the second edition of their Digital Marketers Awards.
Moneycontrol, in association with Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), felicitated the best digital marketing talent at Digital Marketers Awards 2016. The awards held in Mumbai on December 15 witnessed the presence of the most prestigious brands and leading CMOs across various sectors.
The awards acknowledged the remarkable work done by CMOs and marketing heads to support their respective brands in taking the big digital leap, thereby truly being able to thrive in offline and online ecosystems. 10 successful and innovative marketers across sectors such as banking, insurance, personal finance and investments, healthcare, automobile and automobile services, real estate, IT and ITes, travel, digital businesses and consumer durables/FMCG who leveraged innovative and creative digital tools to reach out to their target markets were felicitated.
A prestigious jury board comprising Ushar Vyas, Chief Strategy Officer, GroupM South Asia, GroupM; Atit Mehta, VP and Head of Media, Sequoia Capital; Deepali Naair, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer, IIFL Wealth and Asset Management; Aditya Rath, Partner, KPMG; Manish Vij, Founder, SVG Media; Anita Nayyar, CEO India and South Asia, Havas Media; andÂ Vivek Bhargava, CEO, DAN Performance Group were handed over the responsibility to choose the best digital marketers this year.
The winners at the 2016 Digital Marketers Awards were Kartik Jain, CMO, HDFC Bank (Banking); Sanjeev Handa, VP Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (Automobile); Adhil Shetty, CEO, BankBazaar (Digital Business); Swati Rathi, Marketing Head and Senior GM, Godrej and Boyce Mfg Co Ltd- Appliances Division (FMCG and Consumer Durables); Mohan Menon, GM and Head Marketing, Max Healthcare (Healthcare); Jaimit Doshi, Sales and Marketing Head, Coverfox (Insurance); Apurva Chamaria, VP and Global Head- Corp Marketing, HCL Technologies (IT and ITES); Rohan Padhye, VP Marketing, Axis Mutual Fund (Personal Finance and Investments), Vishal Gonsalves, Sr GM- Marketing and Sales, Godrej properties (Real Estates); Gunjan Soni, CMO and Head-International Brands Business, Myntra (Retail); and Shubham Khurana, Director, Marketing, Treebo Hotels (Travel).
