Close on the heels of Rishi Jaitly exiting Twitter, this week saw another big exit at the microblogging platform. Parminder Singh, Managing Director, Southeast Asia/India/MENA, Twitter, has stepped down after a three-year stint. Singh announced his move in a series of tweets that also included succession plans.
An update. After leading Twitter in Asia's most exciting markets (India/SEA/MENA) for 3 yrs, time to move on to new passions #BeenAPrivilege

With Singh’s departure, Twitter has split the INSEA and MENA regions. While MENA has been aligned to EMEA managed by Benjamin Ampen, INSEA has been aligned to APAC region managed by Maya Hari. Hari has been elevated to the Managing Director role for SE Asia & India. She had joined Twitter in 2014 as Senior Director, Product Strategy & Sales - APAE (APAC + LATAM + MENA). Prior to joining Twitter, Hari had stints with Samsung as Director Content & Services, Conde Nast as Director, Digital (Internet & Mobile), Microsoft, Google, e.t.c.
INSEA will be managed by @maya_hari and MENA by @bampen. Both great professionals, have worked with me closely & well suited to drive growth — Parminder Singh (@parrysingh) November 3, 2016
