Lokmat, Maharashtra and Goa's leading regional newspaper, has been initiating various reader connect programmes since its inception across Maharashtra. In an attempt to showcase musical talent of the youth, Lokmat is creating a special show, Rock On 2, in Aurangabad using its media marketing machinery and connect with people. Apart from the main concert, Lokmat introduced a contest for aspiring rock bands in Aurangabad and will give an opportunity to a talented band from the city to play before Farhan Akhtar, sharing the same stage.

As part of the competition introduced two weeks back, a band will have the rare opportunity to perform in front of a 35,000-strong audience in Aurangabad on November 2.
