The Global Awards honouring the World's Best Healthcare and Wellness Advertising announced its 2016 award winners in a recently concluded awards function in Sydney, Australia.

McCann Health, New Delhi, won the Global Award for its 'pay with your voice' campaign for Omron automation in the promotional marketing category. The agency also won a Finalist certificate for 'the blue dot' campaign for United Diabetes Forum.

Aakanksha Healthcare, Mumbai won a Finalist certificate for Akuna's launch campaign. Crayons Advertising, New Delhi too bagged a Finalist certificate for the 'donuts' campaign for Apollo Sugar Clinics.

McCann Health also earned Global Healthcare Agency Network of the Year, Langland UK is Healthcare Agency of the Year, FCB Health is Local Healthcare Agency Network of the Year, and Grand Global goes to Grey Group Singapore.

The Global Awards is now in its 22nd year of honouring the World's Best Healthcare and Wellness Advertising. The 2016 award winners were announced at celebrations that took place at New York Academy of Sciences in New York City and at Studio X in Sydney Australia.

All entries submitted to the 2016 Global Awards were judged by the Executive and Grand Juries, headed by Global Awards Executive Committee Chairperson Robin Shapiro, Group President, North America, TBWA\WorldHealth. The 2016 Global Awards Grand Jury and Executive Jury honoured winners from entries submitted from 24 countries with one Grand Global Award, 41 Global Awards and 104 Finalist Certificates.

The third annual Creative Globalisation mural was unveiled at the New York cerebration.
