Ogilvy’s sister agency, Soho Square, has won the creative mandate of Sujata Appliances, a kitchen appliances company, in a multi-agency pitch. The agency will be responsible for promoting the brand and make it more visible in the market.

The agencies that participated in the pitch were Innocean Worldwide, incumbent agency AndAnd Brand Partner and a few others. The mandate was awarded to Soho Square on Friday, October 28, 2016.

The Sujata spokesperson told BestMediaInfo, “We chose Soho Square as our creative partners because the presentation the agency gave to us during the pitch brought out the best strengths of the brand.”

Recently, the brand awarded its media duties to Havas Media.

The company plans to promote the brand on a 360-degree platform. Sujata wants to increase awareness of the brand and to demonstrate product superiority in such a way that the brand can get a premium over brands that are currently perceived to be premium.

Sujata was launched in 1980. Its turnover as of March 2016 was Rs 107 crore. The company intends to set an example of ‘Make in India’ in the kitchen appliances category.
