In Week 39 (September 24-30, 2016) of BARC India data, despite staying at its No. 4 position in Urban markets, Sony Entertainment Television has gained significant numbers to close the gap with Zee TV. Star Plus continues to lead, followed by Colors and Zee TV.

The show has entered the top five programmes list in U+R markets.

Top Channels in U+R markets

In U+R markets, Star Plus retains its lead with 690.400 million Impressions, followed by Colors with 544.831 million Impressions. Zee TV and Star Utsav are at No. 3 and 4 with 522.878 million Impressions and 457.548 million Impressions, respectively. Zee Anmol is at No. 5 with 439.027 million Impressions, while Life OK is at No. 6 with 430.236 million Impressions.

Sony Entertainment Television remains at No. 7 in U+R markets with 424.918 million Impressions. Sony Pal stands at No. 8 with 410.720 million Impressions. Sony SAB and Rishtey are at No. 9 and 10 with 371.912 million Impressions and 325.388 million Impressions respectively.

Top Programmes in U+R markets

In combined U+R markets, Zee TV's Brahmarakshas - Jaag Utha Shaitan was the most watched show with 11.461 million Impressions. Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya is at No. 2 with 11.236 million Impressions, followed by Star Plus' Saath Nibhaana Saathiya with 10.230 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television's The Kapil Sharma Show stood at No. 4 with 9.865 million Impressions, while Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein trailed with 9.704 million Impressions.

Top Channels in Urban markets

Star Plus continues to lead with 456.411 million Impressions, followed by Colors with 370.875 million Impressions. Zee TV is at No. 3 with 300.552 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television is at No. 4 with 298.670 million Impressions, gaining on the back of its non-fiction property The Kapil Sharma Show. At 5th spot is Life Ok with 265.376 million Impressions. Zee Anmol's Bandini is at No. 5 with 4.464 million Impressions.
