The ‘People's Choice Awards’ 2015 voted Flipkart ‘Big Billion Day’ as the best online shopping festival

The 3rd edition of the much awaited 'People's Choice Awards’ by CashKaro.com, a leading largest cashback & coupons site, is out and the 2015 year results reveal the top online shopping festivals, the factors that encouraged online shopping and the most preferred e-retailer across various product/service categories. The survey also talks about celebrity brand endorsements and their impact on online shopping behaviour.
Flipkart ‘Big Billion Day’ has been regarded as the best online shopping festival, while Amazon.in has been voted as the best e-commerce site in India followed by Flipkart & Paytm. 50% of respondents felt that celebrity brand endorsements do not influence their online shopping behavior.
The survey was conducted at a pan-India level and saw participation of more than 2,000 people. The respondents were from Tier I, II & III cities with 75% male participation and respondents were primarily between the age group of 18-30 years.

According to the survey Flipkart’s Big Billion Day was regarded as the best online shopping festival while Amazon wore the crown of the most popular e-commerce site. Cashback & deals are still favoured by among shop online among users.”
