The Social Street, a new age marketing communications agency, has been instrumental in crafting the association between Times Network and Festival of Globe (FOG). FOG, an annual event held to empower and integrate global cultures and communities through film arts, performing arts, visual arts and folk arts, was held from August 5-14, 2016 at Silicon Valley, San Francisco. This year, FOG took up the cause of 'empowering youth to fight sex crimes'.

The Social Street roped in Times Network as a broadcasting partner for the event. Times Network covered the entire event that was telecast in five countries – India, Middle East, Canada, USA and UK -- on Times Now and Zoom. The Social Street was actively involved in bringing both the parties (FOG and Times Network) together and was the sole point of contact with regard to the coordination, facilitation and execution of the event.

Commenting on the association, Romesh Japra, Founder & Convener of FOG Silicon Valley, said, “Association of The Times Network and Festival of Globe was long overdue. We were able to reach out to millions of people across US, Canada, UK, Middle East and India through this association and the take Festival of Globe to new heights.”

Naveen Chandra, Head of International Business of Times Network, said, “Our leading channels Times Now and Zoom are now in over 80 countries on four continents. We have been happy to power the Festival of Globe and broadcast the Awards and India Day Parade in San Francisco and add them to our repertoire of great international events which we have been a proud part of.”

“We've been privileged to be on the panel of the advisory board of FOGsv,” said Pratap Bose, Founding Partner & Chairman of The Social Street. “I am really proud of the fact that we at TSS are doing some clutter-breaking work for our clients and hence it is even more exciting and rewarding to see partnerships like TSS-FOGsv flourish,” added Bose.

The Social Street was involved with FOG right from the conceptualisation stage to the execution of the entire association with the film – 'The Mother' -- starring Raveena Tandon. Tandon was felicitated for her contribution towards empowerment of the girl child as part of the association.
