Colors’ Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki becomes second most watched show across India while Udaan makes it to top-5 list in Urban market

In Week 31 of BARC data, the pecking order of the channels was more or less the same. Interestingly Colors’ Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki was the second most viewed programme in combined (U+R) markets.

In combined (U+R) markets, Star Plus continued lead with 659.591 million Impressions. Zee TV is at No. 2 with 601.034 million Impressions. Colors is at No. 3 with 547.974 million Impressions, followed by Star Utsav at No. 4 with 528.083 million Impressions. Zee Anmol stands at No. 5 with 506.040 million Impressions.

Life OK is at No. 6 with 423.412 million Impressions. Sony Pal is at No. 7 with 385.152 million Impressions, followed bySony Entertainment Television with 357.635 million Impressions. Sony SAB is at No. 9 with 341.480 million Impressions and lastly Rishtey at No. 10 with 277.343 Impressions.

Top programmes in U+R

Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya retains lead with 14.968 million Impressions, followed by Colors’ Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki at No. 2 with 8.684 million Impressions. Zee Anmol’s Jodha Akbar is at No. 3 with 8.533 million Impressions. Star Plus’Ye Hai Mohabbatein stands at No. 4 with 8.237 million Impressions. Lastly, Zee Anmol’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani stands at No. 5 with 7.980 million Impressions.

Top Channels in Urban markets

As per BARC data for Week 31 (July 30 – August 5), Star Plus retains leadership with 453.650 million Impressions, a fall from last week’s 468.778 million Impressions.

Colors is at No. 2 with 375.898 million Impressions, a rise from last week’s 372.710 million Impressions.

Zee TV is at No. 3 with 334.426 million Impressions, compared to 337.113 million Impressions last week.

Life OK stands at No. 4 with 274.650 million Impressions, a fall from last week’s 280.748 million Impressions.

Sony Entertainment Television retained fifth position with 254.610 million Impressions, a fall from last week’s 276.553 million Impressions.

Sony SAB is at No. 6 with 251.009 million Impressions, compared to last week’s 264.731 million Impressions.

&TV is at No. 7 with 152.933 million Impressions, a rise from last week’s 139.318 million Impressions. It seems that ‘The Voice India Kids’ is helping the broadcaster gain eyeballs.

Star Utsav is at No. 8 with 121.635 million Impressions, compared to last week’s 109.457 million Impressions.

Zee Anmol is at No. 9 with 119.457 million Impressions, a substantial rise from last week’s 103.873 million Impressions.

Lastly, Sony Pal is at No. 10 with 92.700 million Impressions, a fall from last week’s 94.189 million Impressions.

Top Programmes in Urban markets

As per select data {HSM (Urban): NCCS All: Prime Time (1800 – 2330 hrs): 4+ Individuals}, Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagyaretained its lead with 8.581 million Impressions (last week 7.719 million Impressions).

Colors’ Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki made it to the top five programmes with 5.899 million Impressions at the second position.

Star Plus’ Ye Hai Mohabbatein is at No. 3 with 5.655 million Impressions (last week 6.005 million Impressions).

Sony SAB’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is at No. 4 with 5.556 million Impressions (last week 5.389 million Impressions).

Colors’ Udaan stands at No. 5 making it to the top five shows with 5.550 million Impressions.

Top Channels in Rural markets

In the rural markets, Star Utsav maintains lead with 406.447 million Impressions, a substantial rise from last week’s 376.906 million Impressions.

Zee Anmol stands at No. 2 with 386.582 million Impressions, a substantial rise from last week’s 362.250 million Impressions.

Sony Pal stands at No. 3 in rural markets with 292.452 million Impressions, compared with 309.097 million Impressions last week.

Zee TV is at No. 4 with 266.608 million Impressions, a fall from last week’s 274.163 million Impressions.

Star Plus climbs to No. 5 with 205.941 million Impressions, compared to last week’s 217.108 million Impressions

Rishtey slips to No. 6 with 202.866 million Impressions (last week 218.429 million Impressions).

Colors is at No. 7 with 172.076 million Impressions, an increase from last week’s 159.629 million Impressions.

Life OK stands at No. 8 with 148.762 million Impressions (last week 147.451 million Impressions).

Big Magic is at No. 9 with 107.100 million Impressions, a fall from last week’s 115.308 million Impressions.

Lastly, Sony Entertainment Television is at No. 10 with 103.025 million Impressions, a decline from last week’s 107.384 million Impressions.

Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya slips to No. 2 with 6.387 million Impressions (last week 6.468 million Impressions).

Zee Anmol’s Bandini is at No. 3 with 6.036 million Impressions, a fall from last week’s 6.141 million Impressions.

Star Utsav’s Saath Nibhaana Saathiya rose to the fourth position with 4.567 million Impressions (last week 4.474 million Impressions).

Zee Anmol’s Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Jaa is at No. 5 with 4.508 million Impressions (last week 4.894 million Impressions).
