Starting July 18, IBN7 of the Network18 group will launch two new shows 'Aar Paar' with Amish Devgan at 7 pm and 'Super Crime Time', a fresh format for the crime genre at 10 pm.

The show 'Aar Paar is replacing 'Desh Din Bhar', which is shifting to the 5pm slot. 'Super Crime Time' is a revamped version of the earlier show 'Crime Time', which was aired for half an hour from 10pm to 10:30pm. Now the show will have a fresh content and will be an hour long.

Prabal Pratap Singh, Consulting Editor, IBN7, said, “We will take up issues concerning the common people and our target audience is mostly the youth. The shows are made to make people aware of the nature of crime happening around them. The 'Super Crime Time' 10 pm time slot has been chosen so that more people watch the show at that time than putting the show later in the night.”

The debate show 'Aar Paar', presented by Amish Devgan, will reflect the anchor's no-holds barred style and personality. The show will not shy away from taking positions on issues that the viewers relate to strongly. The show will ask tough questions to those in positions of power and hold them accountable. Devgan will engage directly with viewers through various social platforms to add an element of interactivity to the show.

'Super Crime Time' is a heady mix of crime, drama, mystery and investigation. The show will not only report crime news from various parts of the country but also feature one major incident of the day by recreating the crime scene, piece by piece, trying to uncover its mystery.

On Saturdays, the programming will showcase some of the most infamous love stories that involve misconduct and bloodshed. The new format promises to be a unique blend of informative and captivating content.
