9X Jhakaas presents Abhangvari: Popular Abhangs in modern style

The Marathi music channel has planned Abhangvari, a special show on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi

Abhangvari will provide a platform to the Boy band Abhang Repost to spread the celebration through their modern versions of popular Abhangs. Starting July 8, 9X Jhakaas will exclusively air one new Abhang song by the band. These songs will culminate into a special show Abhangvari on Ashadhi Ekadashi, July 15 at 8 am.

Commenting on the special show Ashwinikumar Patil, Programming Head, 9X Jhakaas, said, “We at 9X Jhakaas have always been at the forefront of innovation in music. Our shows like Lai Bhari, Jhakaas Making and our travelling music concert Jhakaas Music Yatra have been well appreciated by music lovers across Maharashtra. Abhangvari will give the talented singers of Abhang Repost the much deserved platform to promote their talent and viewers will get to enjoy the modern versions of some of the most popular Abhangs.”

9X Jhakaas has shot this special rendition of Marathi Abhangs depicting rich culture of Maharashtra. The Band Abhang Repost has recorded four exclusive songs titled Majhe Maher Pandari, Vrukshvalli Aamha soyare vanchare, Ekachi ka Dann Ekachi mishttanna, Deh Devache Mandir.

Speaking of this modern version of devotional songs, Viraj Acharya, band member, Abhang Repost said, “We are really grateful to 9X Jhakaas for this opportunity and hope that the viewers will love our renditions of the popular Abhangs by our great saints.
