TRAI extends deadline for suggestions on DAS and consumer protection

All stakeholders get time till July 1 and July 8 to send written comments and counter comments

The Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) has extended its deadline time for feedback and suggestions on the consultation paper on 'issues related to quality of services in 'Digital Addressable Systems (DAS) and consumer protection.

On request from the stakeholders, the last date for receipt of written comments and counter comments has been extended till July 1 and July 8, 2016. The deadline won't be extended further, says Trai.

The authority had issued the paper on May 18, 2016 and invited written comments from stakeholders by June 17, 2016 and counter comments by July 1, 2016.

The comments and counter-comments may be sent, preferably in electronic form, on the email: mkasim@trai.gov.in or ks.rejimon@nic.in.
