Sony Pix launches contest for premiere of 'The Angry Birds Movie'

Good news for movie buffs! Sony Pix has rolled out a contest for its viewers to watch the 'The Angry Birds Movie', a day prior to the India premiere, through a special theatre screening

In its new marketing act, Sony Pix is launching a contest where people have to participate in the Angry Birds contest and answer simple questions to win a couple ticket for the Pix Premiere Night of 'The Angry Birds Movie' on May 26, 2016.

The channel has amplified its association with the movie and is running a 15-day contest from May 7 to 21 on the channel's Facebook page ( as well as on air. Fans would get to watch the movie a day prior to the official premiere in India.

The channel will give out tickets to 1,300 fans across Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi. The contest winners across six cities will win couple invites to the premiere and also get to click pictures with the movie memorabilia.

Sony Pix has previously hosted Pix premiere nights for Spectre (2015), Expendables 3, The Hunger Games, Mockingjay, Fantastic Four, Robocop (2014), and The Amazing Spider Man 2 (2015), among others.
