Shalini Gupta joins Lokmat Media as VP, Brand & Communication

She has moved from Reliance Broadcast Network, where she was handling the TV channels Big Magic and Big Magic Ganga

Shalini Gupta has been roped in by Lokmat Media as Vice-President, Brand & Communication. She was previously Chief Marketing Officer at Reliance Broadcast Network (RBNL) handling Big Magic and Big Magic Ganga.

Gupta had joined RBNL in August 2014. With an industry experience of 18 years, Gupta has had stints at Loop Mobile India as Head of Brand and Corporate Communication, Parle Agro, Bharti Airtel and Grey Group.

At Lokmat Media, her role will involve managing the brand’s roadmap and driving overall communications building and external relationships in tune with the organisational ethos across all internal and external stakeholders.

At RBNL, Gupta played a pivotal role in the successful new show launches, improving viewership and reach, created digital platforms for the organisation and played a key role in launching the refreshed logo of the TV network. She also played an important role in restructuring the marketing department and creating a corporate identity for RBNL.
