Now you should not be disappointed if you don't know the destination of the scenic picture you saw last and dreamt of visiting. DDB Mudra's latest invention for Broken Compass can find any place for you through just a picture from Flickr or Instagram.

Sonal Dabral, Chairman and CCO, DDB Mudra Group, said, “Tripstr is the kind of work you will not expect an ad agency to do and that's what I'm really proud of. It's a testimony to the kind of talent we now have at DDB Mudra Group and where we are heading. A place full of passionate, energetic, out-of-the-box thinkers who are not content with making ads, but are every day using their creativity to solve our clients' business problems.”

Until now, the travellers across the globe used to visit predetermined places which were available with the travel booking interfaces. But here onwards, one can visit anywhere; be it a lane you have seen in a picture, a sea from the Instagram photo you have seen or a valley picture from the Flickr. Tripstr attempts to break this conventional way of travelling by altering the interface itself and all this for free.

Downloading the app is very easy and free of cost. The app is available at Google Chrome Store. The user just needs to download it from the store. Once installed, it asks for the user's expected dates for departure and arrival and the city of departure. Then, it turns any geotagged image on Flickr and Instagram into a potential flight search.

Tripstr finds the location of the photo and looks for the nearest airport to it. The user can then directly book flights, or just add the place to their watch-list and set a price alert to take advantage of price drops. They could also contact Broken Compass to request an itinerary to their location of interest.

Further adding, Rahul Mathew, Creative Head, DDB Mudra West, said, “Tripstr stands testimony to the fact that the solutions for our clients' business can, or should, no longer be limited to communication.”

Tripstr can turn the internet in a huge display window for travel and by all means from the content produced by the users. The app would be any traveller's favourite. One can download the app from here: http://bit.ly/1VaFISf .
