PediaSure hands over media duties to Maxus

The size of the business is an excess of Rs 50 crore, as per multiple industry sources

Maxus has won the media duties of PediaSure, an Abbott Pharma brand, following a multi agency pitch which was underway since late last year. The account will be handled out of the Mumbai office of the agency.

According to multiple industry sources, the size of the business is in the range of Rs 45-55 crore. However, the total spends of the brand in the recently ended financial year were above Rs 60 crore.

Lodestar Universal is the incumbent on the business. Abbott Pharma has two accounts, one is for their corporate brand which is handled by Mindshare India. The other account is for their popular brand, PediaSure which will now be handled by Maxus.

The recent campaign of the brand was also implemented by the new agency, as per sources. Maxus MD Kartik Sharma denied to comment on the development.
