Goafest 2016: Shortlists for Creative, Media and Publishers Abbys announced

Goafest Abbys 2016 witnessed a 25 per cent growth in entries this year. The awards will be held at Goafest from April 7 to April 9

The Awards Governing Council of Goafest 2016 has announced the shortlists for this year's Creative, Media and Publishers Abbys.

The Advertising Club Bombay has published the shortlists for all 15 categories across Creative Abbys, all categories of Media Abbys and Publisher Abbys while the shortlists for Broadcaster Abbys are yet to be announced.

Among the Publisher Abbys shortlists, Dainik Jagran leads with 21 finalists while Hindustan Times was the most shortlisted publisher among English dailies with 8 shortlists. Dainik Bhaskar and Chitralekha secured 7 shortlists each. The Times of India secured 4 shortlists.

Goafest Abbys 2016, the advertising awards that recognize the best in advertising and marketing, witnessed a 25 per cent growth in entries this year. The awards, organized by the Advertising Club and the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), will be held at a three-day celebratory event in Goa from April 7 to April 9. The venue for the advertising and marketing fraternity's bash this time is the Grand Hyatt, Bambolim in North Goa.
