‘I am Mumbai’ film for Mumbai Mirror secures four shortlists in Film Craft. Contract, Taproot Dentsu, O&M, DDB Mudra and Early Man Films make it to Film shortlist

Day 2 of Spikes Asia 2015 had some more cheer for Indian agencies as shortlists for Branded Content & Entertainment, Digital, Mobile, Radio, Film, Film Craft, and Print & Poster Craft categories were revealed. India has secured 22 shortlists in these categories.
Film Craft category has yielded 13 shortlists for India. Ramesh Deo Productions, Mumbai has bagged four shortlists for its ‘I am Mumbai’ film for Bennett, Coleman & Co’s Mumbai Mirror in the Direction, Editing, Casting and Use of Original Music sub-categories. Taproot Dentsu, Mumbai is the creative agency. Meanwhile, Taproot’s ‘Hated by Some’ film for Bennett, Coleman & Co’s Mumbai Mirror has bagged a shortlist in the Script sub-category. Ramesh Deo Productions is the production company.
The other shortlisted entries from India in the Film Craft category are: Chris Chros Films Mumbai, which has bagged two shortlists for its work titled ‘A street Dog’s Life’ done for World for All in the Sound Design and Direction sub-categories. BBDO India, Mumbai has also secured two shortlists in Film Craft for its works titled ‘Dear Mr Terry Savage’ for Indian Confederation of NGOs (iCongo) and ‘Matrubhasha – Mother Tongue’ for Star India’s Star Sports channel. McCann Worldgroup India and Leo Burnett India have scored one shortlist each.
India has secured five shortlists in the Film category. Contract Advertising’s work for Tata Docomo data plans, comprising two creatives – Falooda and Snowball – has made it to the shortlist in the Commercial Public Services sub-category. Taproot Dentsu, Mumbai’s work for Bennett, Coleman & Co’s Mumbai Mirror, titled ‘Hated by some’ has made it to the shortlist in the Publications & Media sub-category.
O&M Bangalore, DDB Mudra Group Mumbai and Early Man Films Mumbai have also secured one shortlist each in the Film category.
In Digital category, BBDO India’s ‘Share The Load’ campaign for P&G India’s Ariel Matic has been shortlisted in the Engagement Platform and Integrated Multi-Platform Campaign sub-categories. BBDO India has also secured a shortlist for its ‘Touch The Pickle’ campaign for P&G’s Whisper in the Integrated Multi-Platform Campaign sub-category.
DDB Mudra Group Mumbai is the sole shortlisted entry in the Branded Content & Entertainment category for its work titled ‘Pray to Lose’ for Nutralite.
Taproot Dentsu, Mumbai has bagged a shortlist in the Print & Poster Craft category for its work for BCCL’s Mumbai Mirror comprising three creatives – Pimp, Railway Contractor and Pervert. The other shortlisted entry from India in this category is Contract Advertising for its work – CCRV Bank – done for ATSS Security Solutions Provider.
