Week 37 of BARC ratings witnessed a major shake-up in the English business news genre, with Times Network's ET Now pipping CNBC-TV18 to the post as the top rated English business news channel.

According to select data (All India : NCCS AB : Males 22+ : Individuals : BARC India base - C&S 1Lac+), ET Now garnered a viewership of 230 (ratings in sum of 000s) in Week 37, up from 215 (ratings in sum of 000s) in the previous week.

CNCBC-TV18 slid to the No. 2 spot, witnessing a drop in viewership of nearly 100 TVTs. The channel recorded a viewership of 182 (ratings in sum of 000s) in Week 37.

NDTV Profit and NDTV Prime remained at the third position with a viewership of 69 (ratings in sum of 000s).

According to select data (All India : NCCS AB : Males 22+ : Individuals : BARC India base - C&S 1Lac+), in the English new genre, Times Now continued at the top spot despite losing viewership of over 100 TVTs – from 511 (ratings in sum of 000s) in Week 36 to 402 (ratings in sum of 000s) this week.

NDTV 24x7 held on to its second spot with a viewership of 233 (ratings in sum of 000s), while India Today Television made a rapid return to the third spot with a viewership of 202 (ratings in sum of 000s).

Hindi news

According to select data (HSM : NCCS All : 15+ : Individuals : BARC India base - C&S 1Lac+) for Hindi news channels, Aaj Tak reclaimed the top spot with a viewership of 26,519 (ratings in sum of 000s).

Last week's table topper, Zee News, was pushed to the second spot with a viewership of 25,419 (ratings in sum of 000s).

India TV made a return to the top 3, garnering a viewership of 25,355 (ratings in sum of 000s) and beating ABP News for the third spot.

Hindi Business News

According to select data (HSM : NCCS AB : Males 22+ : Individuals : BARC India base - C&S 1Lac+), CNBC Awaaz topped the table with a viewership of 678 (ratings in sum of 000s) in Week 37, losing more than 200 TVTs over the previous week.

Zee Business had to settle for the second spot again with a viewership of 581 (ratings in sum of 000s), a drop from the viewership of 720 (ratings in sum of 000s) recorded in Week 36.
