Parryware, India's contemporary bathroom solutions brand, has unveiled its new TVC with 'Special memories need a special place' as its central theme. Directed by Anurag Basu and conceptualised by Dentsu Communications, the TVC showcases beautiful moments that one experiences while growing up. The TVC went on air across channels on August 21, 2015.

The TVC aims at focussing on the emotional connect between generations, dovetailing it with the range of Parryware products to match with every emotion. It focusses on perfectly blending the concept of bathroom spacing with technology, style, comfort and contemporary tradition. Much like what we enjoyed as we grew up, or perhaps something even better.

The film uses a “through the years” metaphor and is narrated by a woman who tells us about her beautiful life – how she grows from being a three-year old child to a teen to an adult and finally maturing into a women and then a mother, all captured over the years in a series of beautiful emotional moments. As she looks back, she realises that these moments played out in the bathrooms fitted with Parryware products were enhanced emotionally, making her life richer without even realising it. Our most personal moments are in the bathroom, when we let the mask drop and when we are our true selves. This space allows us to be at our most intimate and emotionally bear with ourselves.

It's here where we actually get our 'me' time and experience life at its most basic and personal. This film shows us vignettes of life that we may have all seen before, but we have never thought about for they are the truths that we take for granted.

Pau Abelló Pellicer, Managing Director, Roca Bathroom Products, commented, “In a market dominated by cut-throat competition and ever-changing customer needs, the ability of a brand to evolve and strike the right chord with its customers sets it apart. Parryware has always been a loved brand in India and is one of the leaders as it provides complete bathroom solutions, with focus on design and innovation. The company believes in delivering products that have better designs, better features, better technology and a better range. Bathrooms are our personal space and the products that go in are now a utility accessory. With this thought in mind, we came up with this beautiful bond between a mother and daughter, focussing on the emotional connect between generations, merging it with the range of Parryware Bathroom solutions to match with every emotion.”

Rajib Sinha, Associate Vice-President, Dentsu Communications, added here, “The brief we got was to challenge the mindset of ignoring the bathroom and establish it as a very important part of the house. Our insight was quite simple since we realised that most of our special memories around bathroom are intimate, innocent and bring a smile to our face every time we think about them. The place of childhood mischiefs, teenage excitement and the intimate time when matured, which makes our bathrooms a very special place which play host to a bunch of evergreen memories. Therefore, the title 'Special memories need a special place'. With this, we wanted to show that it is indeed an important part of the house and thus, should be taken care of.”
