Balaji_Telefilms_logoWith their profits taking a hit in the quarter ended June 30, 2015, Balaji Telefilms is leaving no stone unturned to turn the tide during the rest of the year. The production house has lined up as four new shows on four major networks.

Balaji Telefilms will launch a finite series of 130 episodes in the second week of September which will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television from Monday to Friday.

Around the same time, it will launch a daily fiction serial to be aired on Star Plus from Monday to Saturday.

Balaji Telefilms will launch another fiction show for &TV in September-end. They that earlier aired the historical show 'Jodha Akbar' on the same network. The new show will air from Monday to Friday.

In late October, Balaji Telefilms will produce a show titled 'Nagin', a finite series of 26 episodes of one-hour duration each, which will be aired on Colors on Saturday and Sunday. Interestingly, a show with the same name used to air on Zee TV from 2007 to 2009.

Meanwhile, Balaji Telefilms will also organise a box-office awards that will be aired on a leading Hindi GEC in the first week of November. Further details will be revealed at a later date.

In the regional space, the production house, through their subsidiary Chayabani Balaji Entertainment, will produce a daily original for Colors Bangla in October 2015.

It will also produce a non-fiction show for Star Jalsa in the first week of February 2016.

Meanwhile, Balaji's event management wing, Marinating Films, has licensed the Box Cricket League format for regional broadcasting to Zam Media, a company based out of Punjab.

Marinating Films has also produced a fitness DVD with Sunny Leone for Times Wellness.
