India has scored its first wins at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2015. At the first set of winners announced for Press Lions late on June 22, India secured four Lions, including three Silver Lions and one Bronze Lion.

As reported earlier, India had secured 18 shortlists in Press Lions.

McCann Worldgroup India led India's metals tally with two Silver Lions campaign. The agency bagged the first Silver Lion campaign for its work done for Dabur's Gastrina, titled 'French Horn', 'Flugel Horn' and 'Saxophone'. The agency took home its second Silver Lion campaign for its work done for Essel Group's Dish TV, titled 'Puddle' and Basement'.

Grey Worldwide India scored one Silver Lion campaign for its work titled 'DHL Hands – Ripped', 'DHL Hands – Cutter' and 'DHL Hands – Scissors' done for DHL's Express Courier Services.

Taproot Dentsu, Mumbai took home a Bronze Lion for its work titled 'Pimp' done for Bennett, Coleman & Co's publication Mumbai Mirror.

A total of 79 awards were given away in Press Lions. The Grand Prix campaign was awarded to The Community/ La Comunidad, Miami for its campaign titled 'Dog', 'Baby', 'Squirrel', and 'Moths' done for the City of Buenos Aires to promote the public bike system.

Meanwhile, in Direct Lions, India's lone shortlisted entry – TBWA\India's 'Dreams on Swaddles' campaign done for IDFC Mutual Fund – failed to bag any Lions.

Winners of Mobile and Promo & Activation Lions were also announced on June 22. India had no shortlisted entries in these two categories.
