Lavneesh Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd (RBNL) has decided to move on after a stint of almost two years with the organisation.

Gupta has 18 years of experience, during which he has worked across leading brands in the BFSI industry ranging from Standard Chartered Bank, ABN AMRO and Tata AIG to Max Life and IndusInd Bank. His experience is varied across the treasury, credit, corporate banking, product management, strategy and retail & wealth management sales. Prior to joining RBNL, he was with IndusInd Bank as Executive Vice-President & Head, Bancassurance and New Branch Distribution.

Meanwhile, RBNL has announced the elevation and integration of its top management for this fiscal. The executive leadership team will work seamlessly across the radio (Big FM) and television (Big Magic and Big Magic Ganga) businesses.

Commenting on the development, Tarun Katial, Chief Executive Officer, Reliance Broadcast Network, said, “In order to build a future ready organisation, we want to build a team of lateral leaders. Their focus will be on developing skills of the team in the areas of innovation, creativity, risk taking and adopting an entrepreneurial approach. I am certain that the team will deliver and continue to successfully drive the growth story for the Group.”

The executive leadership team with Katial at the helm as CEO will comprise Asheesh Chatterjee as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer; Ashwin Padmanabhan as Executive Vice-President and Business Head; Sunil Kumaran as Chief Strategy Officer; and Paritosh Painter as Network Creative Director.

Chatterjee will look at new opportunities and expansion plans in addition to Finance and Regulatory. Padmanabhan will oversee Big Magic and Big Magic Ganga channels, in addition to handling his existing role as Business Head for Big FM. Kumaran's responsibilities span revenue and product as well as marketing for both mediums.
