TaxiForSure makes an offer that you can't refuse

The cab hire service provider has unveiled a quirky ad film for social media platforms to promote its '#referALL' programme, produced by production house Throttleman and written and directed by Vishno Rao

Competition amongst the cab hire service providers has intensified post the acquisition of TaxiForSure by Ola earlier this year. In a bid to increase its share of the market, TaxiForSure has introduced a referral programme, under which a consumer can refer TaxiForSure's services to a friend and earn rewards.

The radio taxi and cab booking service provider has rolled out a campaign to create buzz around this referral programme. As part of this campaign, TaxiForSure first released a teaser film, followed by the campaign video which was last week.

The ad film has been produced by Throttleman, a newly-set up production house based out of Bangalore, and written and directed by Vishno Rao. The short and surprising video keeps the viewer engaged to as what will happen throughout and gives a gist of how a consumer can earn rewards and money by using the '#referALL' service. The ad film shows three sets of people presenting briefcases to a 'don' like character. The gangster's moll opens the briefcases to reveal the referrals packed in them, much to the joy of the gangster, who does an impromptu jig at the money that he will get from TaxiForSure in lieu of those referrals.
