Sandeep Pandey has been appointed as Maxus APAC Effectiveness Head. This is a new position for Maxus in APAC and is in line with the increased focus of Maxus in the data services and analytics space. The announcement was made by Ajit Varghese, Regional CEO, Maxus Asia Pacific. Pandey joined Maxus in the last quarter of 2014 and is now part of Maxus' regional management team.

Based out of the Delhi office, Pandey will be responsible for building the Maxus data and analytics capability in the APAC region. In addition, he will be responsible for conceptualising, designing and managing the delivery of advanced data-integration, dashboarding and visualisation solutions for clients.

Commenting on the development, Ajit Varghese said, “In all the years that I have known Sandeep, he is an experienced professional, a keen practitioner in the data and analytics space and extremely focused on client delight. He has already made a huge difference to the Maxus team and product in the few months he has been here. Our focus now will be improving our ability in the integration of big data, social space and brand analytics so that we can connect data with actions and business.”

Pandey is an experienced strategy consultant and has driven business growth for clients from industries as diverse as FMCG, automotive, telecom, retail, insurance, banking, brewery, and media, among others. Besides his work in core analytics, he has been helping clients drive growth through the new age channels by building adaptive frameworks for marketing investments and developing POE strategies to improve brand performance.

Pandey said, “I have worked with GroupM for almost 10 years and really like the space we have captured in data and analytics. I am very impressed by the Maxus brand. In my new role, I am excited about working with teams across markets to strengthen our Effectiveness (data and analytics) practice for our clients.
